Burton Energy Group would like to introduce you to our newest team member… Will Rice! Here are a few words from Will…   I recently joined Burton Energy Group’s demand side team as an Energy Engineer. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Shortly after graduating I began working in the energy efficiency industry as a utility analyst, and then as a project development engineer. While working full time, I went back to Georgia Tech for graduate school, and I received my Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2013.  Now at Burton, I am helping clients reduce their energy consumption and operating costs by performing energy audits and identifying energy conservation measures. I find this work very fulfilling, as it helps not only our customers and our business, but also society as a whole. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two yellow labs, Charley and Cooper. My wife and I are very excited to be expecting our first child in March of 2014. My other hobbies include running, spending time at the lake, doing home improvement projects, and hanging out with friends and family. I’m a big sports fan, Georgia Tech especially, and try to attend football games and basketball games as often as I can.

Congratulations Will (on both the new job and your baby news)! We can’t wait to see baby pictures in March!
