Earlier this month, the Burton family threw a surprise baby celebration for one of our engineers, Justin! Justin and his wife were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first daughter. One afternoon a few weeks before the official due date, Burton team members sneakily decorated the conference room preparing for the party. From the napkins, to the cake, to the decorations, Burton’s large conference room was pretty in pink.
Meanwhile, the Demand Side Team came up with a ruse to get Justin to the party. And they were successful, as Justin was thoroughly surprised and excited!
We gathered around the room to open presents, eat cake, and swap advice on diaper changing, car seats, and strollers. Justin even taught us some tips and tricks on how to most efficiently cut a cake!
The surprise party was well-timed. 2 weeks later, Justin and his wife welcomed their baby daughter into the world. Congratulations to the family and their new arrival!
