On April 20, 2015 the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Awards Ceremony was held at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington D.C. Out of over 16,000 ENERGY STAR partners, 128 organizations were recognized in 2015 as ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award winners. These award winners are helping millions of individuals, families, and businesses protect the environment through superior energy efficiency. Categories included: Climate Communications, Energy Efficiency Program Delivery, Energy Management, ENERGY STAR Promotion New Home Construction, Product Brand Owner, Retailer, and Service and Product Provider.
Burton Energy Group earned ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for the third year in a row in the Service and Product Provider category, achieving the coveted Sustained Excellence award! Mr. Brent Burton accepted the award this year for Burton Energy Group, which was a very special moment for all of us!
We also expanded our social media efforts this year and were recognized Honorable Mention in the new SocialStar Challenge. This challenge monitored Burton Energy Group’s social media presence during the two week period before the awards ceremony. Read our twitter recap of the awards ceremony below!
