Brent contributed an article entitled “In Greening Your Hotel, Every Department Plays a Role.” In the feature, he explains how the best resource a hotel has to pursue energy efficiency is it’s own people and details how the major departments of a hotel can contribute to energy efficiency success. Brent goes on to explain that one of the most important first steps to improve a hotel’s green program is to have the General Manager create and chair an energy and utilities conservation team.
