Author Lauren Rister

Lauren Rister is an Energy Analyst for Burton Energy Group, working within the Supply and Operations team. She holds a BS in Economics from the University of Louisville and a Master’s in Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management from Georgia Tech. She joined our team in August 2021 after graduating from Tech and discovering her interest in the energy sector. Her sophomore year at Louisville she spent a semester studying in Barcelona, Spain. It was during this time she realized how big Earth is and discovered her passion for preserving it. She also enjoys other activities like hanging with family, exploring the city, a game of euchre, and most importantly cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.
