Our company was recently recognized as one of the best companies to work for, based on a survey by TINYpulse of employees at over 500 companies from around the world with the goal of measuring workforce happiness. While we’re not sure how they found us to be included in the survey, we’re truly humbled and honored by this accolade.
When my fellow Managing Partner Mark Breuker and I started the company, one of the primary goals was to create a culture where our coworkers could enjoy the work environment and optimize their productivity. With that as our foundation we thought we could attract talented employees with a strong work ethic, and that in turn would lead to executing high quality deliverables on behalf of our clients.
We never lost sight of that principle, and it has been instrumental in our success. As the old adage goes, I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed (those who know me are shaking their heads vertically in affirmation). But I do understand the inherent value in surrounding myself with phenomenal colleagues. And while it’s not always easy and the lines sometimes get blurred, we strive to achieve a healthy balance between our professional and personal lives.
