The Burton Team started 2017 off right with our annual tradition of a company-wide volunteer day. This year, we were hosted by Action Ministries and tasked with assembling packages of food at the organization’s Atlanta warehouse for their SuperPack and Feed the Hungry hunger-relief programs. Action Ministries’ SuperPack program delivers bags of easy-to-cook meal kits to local schools, where they are discreetly placed into the backpacks of at-risk children on Fridays to ensure they have an adequate food supply for the weekend. The Feed the Hungry program provides 18-pound boxes of food to area churches, schools, and other civic organizations where the boxes are then distributed to families in need. The Burton Team, comprised of efficiency experts, wasted no time on the assembly line and packaged a grand total of 750 SuperPacks and 100 Feed the Hungry food boxes! A big thank you from the Burton Team to Action Ministries for this worthwhile opportunity to give back to our community!
